In Conversation: A Flower Garden for Pollinators, with Rachel de Thame and Clare Foster

from £15.00
sold out

Friday 3rd May 2024

Join Clare Foster, Garden Editor of House & Gardens Magazine, for an informative conversation with expert horticulturalist and regular Gardener's World presenter Rachel de Thame and learn how to create a garden that provides an abundant resource of plants rich in nectar and pollen all year round.

With bees, butterflies and other pollinators threatened by climate change and habitat loss, it's now more important than ever to support and nurture pollinators in your garden.  Clare and Rachel will share planting tips and schemes, what to plant and when, in order to attract and sustain a host of pollinators all year round.

Clare will also delve into Rachel’s personal inspiration behind her new book, and talk about sharing the journey with her daughter, botanical artist, Lauren Lusk, whose exquisite watercolours illustrate the pages - and are also exhibited at Thyme.

10.00 - Arrival; 10.30 - Talk Starts

Ticket price:  £35, includes a two course lunch in the Ox Barn

Attendance to the talks is complimentary for our guests staying at Thyme. Please email reservations@thyme.co.uk to book.
