Vigour & Skills - Meet the Maker: Saskia Marjoram
Flower essences work deeply and gently bringing positive and effective change to our lives. They act as catalysts, bringing awareness and shifting patterns enabling you to move forward in a safe, natural and simple way.
In Conversation With: Edward Bulmer
Edward Bulmer, the founder of Edward Bulmer Natural Paint, has over 30 years of experience designing interiors. His expertise as one of the nation's foremost architectural historians lead him to believe the future lies in the return to natural materials, especially paint.
In Conversation With: Jane Hammond
Jane Hammond’s botanical collages offer a re-interpretation of the painterly tradition of botanical art. Whilst the spectacular arrangements of flowers, grasses and seeds, accompanied by insects and birds are curiously familiar, the juxtaposition of images from a myriad of places and time results in works that are entirely original.
In Conversation With: Domenica Marland
London and Wiltshire based art dealer Domenica Marland has curated the art on the walls in The Swan. She is passionate in advocating young and up-and-coming artists, all of whose works are all available to buy from our Art Menu.
In Conversation With: Richard Pomeroy
British potter Richard Pomeroy has been an artist for most of his life, painting in oil on canvas. He came to pottery recently, in 2015. All of the pieces are hand-built in his studio in Bruton, Somerset, using porcelain clay. We are delighted to welcome, in partnership with the Lyndsey Ingram Gallery, an exhibition of ceramics by Richard Pomeroy.
Autumn Leaves Ceramics
It's such a joy to collaborate again with Thyme. This is my third collection and I always love using Caryn's beautiful illustrations as a starting point for my ceramics. Inspired by her autumnal drawings of oak leaves and horse chestnut I used leaves sourced from my garden and Holland park to press into a speckled stoneware clay body.
Meet the Maker: Andión
We are delighted to launch a capsule collaboration with Andión using our botanically inspired prints on their beautifully made, hand-smocked blouses.
Andión is a mother-daughter atelier working from the beautiful hills of Galicia in northeastern Spain. Each of their pieces are lovingly crafted in a small workshop surrounded by cornfields, eucalyptus, and oak trees. Always handmade and always inspired by their Galician roots.
