Garden Walk

  • Thyme Lechlade, England, GL7 3NX United Kingdom (map)

Pull on your wellingtons and take a guided tour of the Thyme estate. First, explore the walled courtyard gardens of the Ox Barn, designed by Chelsea Flower gold medallist Bunny Guinness. Next, ramble through the Orchard, where apples, pears, plums, medlars, sea buckthorn, sloes, crab apples, rosehips and more, grow. Walk across the fields to the Kitchen and Cutting Gardens, and learn about the flowers, herbs and vegetables that we grow.'. Finally, take a moment to sit and observe the serenity of the Water Meadows, home to a myriad of extraordinary birds including swallows, cuckoos, song thrushes, reed warblers, and all four native species of British owl. After your tour, enjoy a seasonal herbal infusion (blackcurrant leaf, chamomile or water mint) in the Home Kitchen.
