In the Area: Lorfords

At Thyme, we have worked with Lorfords for a long time, sourcing treasured antiques to decorate our inside spaces. Toby Lorford not only has an expert eye, but also a passion and style which sets Lorfords apart from the rest, making a trip to the Lorfords Hangars a truly wonderful affair. Wandering the vast space, treasure hunting through curated rooms, you will find dining tables with stories to tell and secrets to spill; commodes, dressers and cupboards that have travelled the world; and decorative accessories which will bring a home to life. It is easy to fall in love with Lorfords.

It is with the same passion for timeless style and true craftsmanship that Lorfords Contemporary was born. Beautifully crafted pieces, handmade in Stroud and designed to be the antiques of tomorrow. We couldn’t be more delighted that our first foray into the furniture world is with Lorfords, seeing our Oak Leaf fabric adorning their Traditional Elmstead sofa, now available to be made for your own home.
